Experience type and Goods type

Purchasing a Kaga e-residency certificate/Product NFTs

1. Display the Kaga e-residency NFT sales site

Access the following URL from a browser on your computer or smartphone.
When logging in with your smartphone, if you have a MetaMask account, access the URL using the browser in the MetaMask app.

2. Log in with a “wallet”

When purchasing, you will need a digital “wallet” to store your Kaga e-residency certificate/Product NFT online. Please use your existing wallet (Torus Wallet or MetaMask recommended) or follow the on-screen instructions to create a new wallet when purchasing the Kaga e-residency certificate/Product NFT. Log in to the Kaga e-residency NFT sales site with your wallet user account.
Select [Login] in the upper right corner of the screen and log in by one of the following methods.

• Register a new account with the wallet service and log in.
  1. Select [Create a new account] at the bottom of the displayed screen.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to register as a Torus Wallet user and log in.
     You can register for a Torus Wallet account with your Google account or email address.
• Log in with an existing wallet service account.
  On your computer:

  1. If you are using the wallet service with your computer’s browser for the first time, install the wallet extension in your browser in advance. (MetaMask recommended)
  2. On the next screen, select [Log in with social media or email account] or [Log in with browser wallet].
     

  On your smartphone:
  Select [Log in with social media or email account] or the button with the MetaMask illustration.

  We recommend Torus Wallet or MetaMask as the wallet service for the Kaga e-residency NFT sales site.

3. Purchase the Kaga e-residency certificate/Product NFT

• After logging in, select the Kaga e-residency certificate/Product NFT you want to purchase on the displayed screen, confirm the contents, and select [Purchase NFT].
• Select the payment method and select [Complete order].
  You can choose from the following payment methods on the Kaga e-residency NFT sales site.
  • Credit card (yen)
  • Cryptocurrency specified on the screen (ETH / MATIC)

4. Register your personal information

After payment, enter your personal information on the next screen. If you are using a service that requires delivery, such as receiving goods, please be sure to register your address and contact information.

How to use your Kaga e-residency certificate/Product NFTs

After purchasing a Kaga e-residency certificate/Product NFT on the Kaga e-residency NFT sales site, you can use services and/or receive goods in the following ways depending on the content of the service.
(a) Scan the QR code of the local business operator (Experience type)
(b) Receive goods by delivery (Goods type)

(a) Scan the QR code of the local business operator (Experience type)
At the site of receiving services, such as transportation services, accommodations, or shops (for example, inside the car in case of a transportation service or at the site for accommodations or shops), scan the QR code presented by the local business operator with your smartphone. Then, show your confirmation screen to the local business operator.

1. Select [Login] in the upper right corner of the Kaga e-residency NFT sales site and log in.
2. Select [My Page] at the top of the screen.
3. Select [Scan QR code] on the [My Page] screen and scan the QR code presented by the local business operator.
4. Select the service you want to use on the displayed screen, and then select [Use] at the bottom of the screen.
   [Tip]
   If a local business operator provides multiple services, you will see a list of services on the screen.
5. Show the confirmation screen of your smartphone to the local business operator.
6. Select [Confirmed with operator] to complete the confirmation of the local business operator and use the service.

(b) Receive goods by delivery (Goods type)

If you register your shipping address when purchasing the NFT, you will receive the goods automatically by delivery.

Your goods will be delivered to the shipping address that you registered by the end of the previous month.

1. Follow the steps in “Purchasing a Kaga e-residency certificate/Product NFTs” to select an item and purchase the NFT.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions and enter the shipping address on the next screen after purchasing the NFT.
   The ordered goods will be delivered.

Buying, selling, and using Kaga City NFTs

Product NFTs purchased on the Kaga e-residency NFT sales site can be bought and sold with third parties on an NFT marketplace. Kaga City NFTs acquired through an NFT marketplace can also be used on the Kaga City site.

By registering your My Number Card on the Kaga e-residency NFT sales site in advance, you can use the services by presenting your My Number Card. If you register your My Number Card, you may also be able to earn bonus points when purchasing NFTs. Present your My Number Card to local business operators at the site of receiving services, such as transportation services, accommodations, or shops (for example, inside the car in case of a transportation service or at the site for accommodations or shops).

• QR code scanning is available for all services, but check with the local business operator to see if you can use your My Number Card.
• The Near Field Communication (NFC) function of your smartphone is needed to register your My Number Card.

1. Register your My Number Card
   1. Select [Login] in the upper right corner of the Kaga e-residency NFT sales site and log in.
   2. Select [My Page] at the top of the screen.
   3. Select the [My NFTs] tab and select [Authenticate My Number Card] under [Kaga e-residency Certificate].
   4. Follow the on-screen instructions to download the “TRUSTDOCK” app to your smartphone.
   5. Have your My Number Card ready.
   6. Follow the instructions on the app screen, enter the required information, and then scan your My Number Card with the NFC function of your smartphone.
      Once your My Number Card is registered, you can confirm that it is authenticated on the [My Page] screen of the Kaga e-residency NFT sales site.
2. Present your My Number Card and use the service
   1. User: Present your My Number Card to the local business operator.
   2. Local business operator: The local business operator scans the user’s My Number Card with their smartphone.
   3. User: Enter the user information on the screen displayed on the local business operator’s smartphone.
   4. User: Confirm that your My Number Card has been authenticated on the local business operator’s smartphone screen, and then select [OK] to use the service.
